In the last few years, developers and companies seem to be the trend of the GPL to permissive for open source projects. However, the use of the GPL per cent of all open source projects is in decline. According to a 2008 family Aslett, GPL is 70 per cent of the licence. As of December 2011, was 57 percent. Obviously, there is a tendency at least for now to permissive.
