Bioniqs Introduce New Solvent Kits
Ahead of our 2009 product catalogue Bioniqs have launched three kits; ‘Product Catalogue Starter kit’, ‘Low Viscosity kit’ and ‘Hydrophobic kit’. These offer a representative selection of ammonium salts and will be of particular interest to researchers who are new to protic ionic liquids (PILs). “The kits offer an easy, low-cost entry route for those interested in assessing the suitability of PILs for novel applications” says Marketing Manager Robert Newton. Natural Product Extraction Report
The latest report on the extraction of artemisinin from Artemisia annua using Bioniqs ionic liquids is now available to view on the Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) website. MMV, who are a nonprofit organization focused on developing new antimalarial drugs, have commissioned the design of an optimized ionic liquid so that refluxing hexane can be replaced.
