New Groundbreaking ‘Green’ Solvent Prices

Bioniqs has implemented new market leading prices for their catalogue range of green solvents. These products, known as ionic liquids, offer environmental and performance benefits over many widely used solvents as they can be both biodegradable and recyclable. Due to the development of new manufacturing processes they are now available from as little as £49/kg.

It is thought these highly competitive prices will heighten market interest in ionic liquids from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and related trades. This should assist in facilitating the transition of this relatively new technology into large-scale, generic industrial processes. Additionally, with environmental and chemical legislation such as REACH (in Europe) limiting the use of many widely used solvents, Bioniqs offering of alternative legislation compliant products is of increasing importance.

Bioniqs can manufacture up to a 10kg scale in-house and licence preferred partners to produce bulk-scale quantities. It is anticipated that when supplied at scale even lower prices will be realised.

The company's product catalogue acts as a supplement to the core service of recommending and designing application specific green solvents from a proprietary database of over 12 million candidate solvents.
